After being introduced to these photographic dyes, I was intrigued by the posibilities of expanding cyanotype as well as exploring the painterly qualities of the dyes themselves. It is very hard to know what you are going to get, or even if you have put the dyes in the right place on the paper. I think I like this opportunity to see what happens. As I have worked with them a bit more, I have discovered a few ways to work with the colors that involves blending and using the brush to create areas of combination. I'm glad to have this tool to play with and discover more ways to utilize the dyes.
